Well I figured out that my son is taller than I assumed that he was and he will figure out any way to get candy/chocolate. Thanks Grandma for the valentines day candy, the kids loved it.

Babysitting

While me and Shawn were at dinner, my sister brought things to spoil my kids with and entertain them. Well, she was right on with the glow sticks.

V-day

The kids wanted Strawberry cereal and toast with strawberries on it for breakfast
Shawn caught me off-guard with this one. Our anniversary is on the 16th and so we usually just celebrate them at the same time. 8 YEARS!!! That is total craziness. It has been a adventure the whole way, but worth every minute. So luckly, my sister agreed to come and watch the kids this weekend so me and Shawn could go out on a couple dates. THANKS BRIE!
I always feel like a look funny when other people do my make-up, like a clown I guess. Probably because I don't wear much of the stuff. But today I thought that I would try again and let the people at Kohls makeup counter help me. You can still kinda tell its me.
Shawn's decided to COMPLETELY spoil me this year. He said that he doesn't spoil me enough. So he bought me this necklace and earrings. GASP!!! It is real. When he asked me my opinion of just the necklace at the jewelry store. I told him it was beautiful, and he asked if I wanted it. I told him of course, what girl doesn't want diamonds. But he didn't have to buy my love like this. He said he knew, but still wanted to get it, so for me to go away and let him get what he was going to get, and thanks for my opinion. Shock of shocks when I get the present and there are earring as well. For those of you that know me. I am not a flashy/wear alot of jewelry type of person. But they are stunning and I am so grateful to have a amazing husband that would want to spoil me like this. Here is to many more years with my honey!

Regular Betty Crocker....lol, not really (2/9)

Today I decided that I had to make freezer jam out of all the strawberries that I bought, before they all died. (great sell at King Soopers-$1.25 a container, not as good as the 99cent one, but at least not 5 or 6 bucks a container). Ok, this was my first attempt at doing this, so I thought that it went pretty well. Also today, was my 10th day for my Amish Friendship bread that Lacey gave me. So I did it and that bread is awesome, sad that it takes 10 days to make. But it makes 2 loaves each time so hopefully it will last that long.

Again
Again (I am amazed that boy didn't turn red by the time we finshed)

Austin helping me mix the sugar into the mashed strawberries

Finshed product (and it tastes pretty good to, a little runny-who know how to fix that or what I did that I wasn't suppose to)

Superbowl 2009

Superbowl 2009
Shawn wanted to have it at our house this year to watch it on his monster HD tv. LOL. Anyways, Shawn's brother and his family came to watch it with us. It was a blast to spend time with them. The kids loved playing with their little cousin. We all wanted the underdog to win (Cardinals), but alas it didn't happen. Amazing plays in the game+awful refeeing at times+pretty good commercials+and LOTS of yummy food= A GREAT SUPERBOWL PARTY!

Chloe

Chloe has been in gymnastics for a little over a year and she loves it. So when we moved up to our house, I had to find another class for her. She just loves to teach her little brother all of her new "tricks" from her "dance class".

We actually got snow

We have had a really dry, windy winter this year and so when it actually snowed I had to take a picture. 1/26/2009
