Memories

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

4th of July

We were so excited to come home to Wyoming for 2 reasons. All of Shawn's family was at his parents house (one sister and her family we haven't seen in 2 1/2 years). And of course this is Shawn's holiday for any of you that know him. He LOVES fireworks. And in Wyoming you can shoot just about anything. So he was really excited. It was great to see everyone. Chloe just loved seeing her cousins. Especially the older three girls. She would follow them everywhere and say the things they were saying. Like with the fireworks, they would say, "that was awesome" so of course Chloe wanted to say it too.

LOL

Shawn decided to help me by dressing the kids while I was out running. When I came home, Chloe was wearing capris. She doesn't have capris. Come to find out Shawn had put her in Austin's pants. I couldn't believe they actually fit.

I can't believe that my baby is 3. It is amazing to look back on the past 3 years and see all that has happened to our little family. I just love my little girl so much. It is so wonderful that she can communicate so well with me. And I love her little sayings. "I got a grumbly in my tumbly." (winnie the pooh), "thats good joe" (when she is drinking something-off of meet the robinsons) I think that she is watching far too much tv to be able to quote show :D. We had her favorite breakfast, homemade waffles and blueberries. Daddy went to work and me and the kids went to the aquarium. Which was a blast. Then the next day, we really celebrated Chloe's birthday, since Shawn was home. Chloe helped me decorate the living room and I attempted to make her a rocket cake from Little Einsteins. I am just grateful for everyones calls and presents. 6/7/2008

Memorial Day Weekend

This was a tough thing to do. I knew that I had to come home to Wyoming for Memorial Day. But I wanted to stay in denial about everything with my dad. But I am definately glad that I did it. My mom picked a beautiful headstone for my dad. He loved the outdoors, WW2 history (that is why there is a fighter plane on it), and he was deeply patriotic (american flag). It was placed right before we got there. Everyone did a great job with it.

Austin's First Haircut

I don't know why we waited so long to cut his hair, but his crazy old man hair had to go. It was a 2 man (actually me & shawn) operation to get it done. It looks pretty good. 5/11/2008
